The Walkway

This is a short section of a walk and cycle track that goes right around the edges of the estuary. When this board walk section was completed, it allowed users to avoid using the road altogether, and to hug the shoreline. The estuary is very tidal and many birds feed there at half tide.

At the end of this section, on the right, is the local marina, and some boats that have been pulled up out of the water are just visible.
