The state of Arizona features prominently on the Pacific Flyway for bird migration each year. It is often referred to as a birder's paradise. The habitat varies greatly from the dry, low desert of the southwest to the high mountains and canyons of the north. I get to see a variety of birds at my feeders in the months that I am in Arizona. The attendance varies from month to month depending which direction the birds are moving in.
