Our kids
We headed to the coast today for a walk at the estuary. Tobes did a classic getting his welly boot stuck in the mud - very funny! He's really made us all laugh this weekend. He's really into making little books at the moment. He folds several pieces of paper together and then does his drawings (usually of little square headed people) and then he dictates the story to us whilst we write it. When he arrived on Friday night, before we had unpacked his bits and bobs, he started using some of Anna's pink one direction paper. Only he didn't like the pink bits or the words on it so he had to cut those off. Anyway he decided to use some of the offcuts for the front cover of his book today. He cut out 'ction' and wrote a book about a 'ction tree'. Its genius! I love it.
We did another line up shot of the kids today - sadly poor Anna isn't on it though as she had an upset tum so was back at the cottage sleeping. We took another one with a gap in case we could somehow photoshop her in at a later date! Way beyond my (non existent) PS skills!
We had a lovely Sunday roast in Cartmel before saying goodbye and heading home. The drive home wasn't nearly so long as coming back but it was late to bed by the time we had unpacked and collected the pups from James and Lynne's. They've had a great time. Millie and Nell have not stopped playing all weekend. I am sure she has grown over the weekend.
