Woodland Colour

We got out for our walk just after lunch today and just as we set off the sun went in, so it was a bit gloomy through the woods - and very muddy after all the rain we had.

I was quite surprised to see so many different colours of leaves - from green and yellow thorough to gold and bronze as well as a carpet of brown. The colours were pretty bright despite the absence of the sun

This shot also has the green moss growing on the fallen tree roots.

I was undecided a bout a blip shot today - I also caught this with some amazing browns and yellow in the bright sun which came out about half an hour after the blip shot.
