Desolate.....

Had a research day today, which was very productive. This evening I decided that I needed to get back to doing some exercise. My mam told that there was a great gym at the Silverlink retail park so I googled it and set off in the car to find it. The photos online looked great but this is what I saw on arrival! A desolate closed hotel, with the exit to the car park barricaded up. It was so spooky (or maybe I've been watching too many zombie movies)! I saw a car drive out so I drove to the back of the building and found even though the hotel is derelict, it's gym is still open. We went in and had a swim but the gym was quite dirty and run down too so decided not to join.
I got home and called my mam to tell her about it. Turns out their are TWO gyms at the silverlink. The one she meant was not far up the road. Nevermind, at least I did get to do some swimming.
