There's a hole in my floor.

A builder came to dig a hole in the floor of our outhouse today. Apparently it is to find out what the foundations are like so that we can finally get our extension done. I don't think it will start this side of Christmas thank goodness but looks like we have some stressful and exciting times ahead.
