Life in the City Centre

This is pretty much in the centre of Birmingham, an area I rarely frequent, particularly on weekdays. It was slightly reminiscent of my old haunt, central London, around rush hour time, only a lot more Brummie. That is, everyone's in a hurry but no-one gets arsey about it.

We ate out at a new restaurant in Brum, and later I paid the bill with a quarter pound of cheese I pulled out of my bag. Well, I tried to. It was exactly the same shape and weight as my purse. (They're just lucky I didn't pull out the carton of eggs, packs of flashwipes or 3 bulbs of garlic also residing in my bag after an early morning trip to the supermarket before work today).
