Down by the river on a frigid morning with the wind coming straight from Canada.
I found this chap, a Great Blue Heron, standing with his reflection in a quiet, out-of-the-wind corner. Regrettably, he was on the other side of the river, and I feared that if I did a chase (like I performed for the swans a few weeks back), he would be long gone by the time I came up behind him.
