Geese galore!

Lyall, our son in law, texted me as he was going to work this morning telling me there were loads of geese around. Being an avid goose fan I persuaded JohnD to drive up towards the Carse to see if there were any feeding in the fields this afternoon. At first no luck but as we headed back home we saw a huge skein in the sky. We waited for them to land and what a sight...... a thousand at least . What a noise. Then they took off again...blip for the day!
