Sunny day

The sun came out today having been absent for most of the past two weeks.  Bright but cold for a few who braved a boat ride on the Moscow River.

The light brought out the best colors of the Kremlin:  the squat church with the silver roof and silver domes is the Cathedral of the Archangel, built between 1505 and 1508 as the burial place for the rulers of Muscovy and Russia.
