I'm chasing my own tail this week. I spent the weekend shooting an event for inventors and techies, which was great fun but left me ridiculously exhausted. it's nice to pick up a bit of freelance photography work seeing as I have no time to tutor or copy-edit or anything this year.

but I'm near the end of the semester, I have an assignment deadline, and I'm so tired. you ever feel yourself standing still while the world curves in flux around you? it's dizzying.

anyway, these are 3D-printing objects. you have a printer that uses molten plastic instead of ink, you code a design on the computer and send it to print, and the printer lays down layers of plastic until it builds the object. the guy running these this weekend is really, really good, and these are fabulously complex.
