Salamander saved

I've been putting off looking at the swimming pool, and had hoped Mr F would deal with it before returning to Mali, but he didn't. I think he is trying to make me braver when it comes to the local wildlife, which is sort of working, as I liberated a live toad, a dead toad, a very groggy salamander who had been sitting on a chlorine tablet, and two dead mice.
This is the salamander still on the spatula I use for removing creatures from the skimmers!
