Pink cliffs.

The steep cliffs at the southern end of the beach at Whiritoa have distinct pink colour. It must be quite a soft rock as there are lots of shapes in the cliffs which have been carved out by the action of wind,rain and sea spray. At the base of the cliffs are some rocks where we gather green-lipped mussels at low tide.
