Oasis

I went for a walk with L this morning and thought I would show you a different side of Las Vegas - in truth there will be very little opportunity to visit The Strip this time but that is fine as I have shown you various aspects of it from previous visits. This street is just around the corner from my son' s and provides a good hour's peaceful stroll especially between 9am and 10am, as it was this morning, as the sun was well up but not yet too strong for either of us. Literally just behind these houses is a wall and beyond the wall all you can see is mile upon mile of desert until you reach the mountains. Despite this, most gardens have made a great effort with planting trees which thrive in the dry conditions and it all looks very attractive with hardly a weed to be seen. The second cocoon is almost ready but we haven't had a date yet for baby R to be leaving NICU. Today marked her 100th day there.
