All those in favour . . .

"All those in favour of starting yet another new Women's Institute in our village please raise your hand!"
Just one month ago the start of a local new WI was so successful that when, after two meetings, the membership reached 100, they had to start a waiting list. So another meeting was held this evening for those on the waiting list and now another new WI has formed! They have gone away to think about what to call themselves and will meet again just before Christmas to make all their important decisions and have a Christmas Party to celebrate.
I get to these meetings as a helper and will not be joining them. I'm very happy where I belong.
