Our five mile world

Berries on the Tay

Berries that the birds have missed!
Despite one of the coldest winters on record, this cotoneaster bush overhanging the river Tay, is still laden with winter fruits.

The amazing burst of bright red colour caught my eye as I walked to my car. It was made all the more noticeable by the dull, drab beige surrounding landscape. However, the sun was shining down on the river making the background sparkle.

It's a beautiful world!

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
