Do swans ever sleep?

Practised a bit of night photography tonight.
Mainly because it was a dreary day and I couldn't be arsed to go out looking for a shot under those grey skies. It cleared up a bit after dark.
The results of my practise were mixed, to say the least.
I was surprised to see so many swans still up and about after the watershed. Have they no homes to go to?
