I love my new 2x converter I finally got to try today. Using a 2.8 400mm lens and a 2X converter I got lots of shots like this today which I was happy with as the subject was a long way off. I'm hoping with a second x2 (third party) extender 1600mm could be formidable....

The last of this season's tomatoes were picked today so I'm looking forward to tea, brown bread and on the vine tomatoes for supper.

Also looking forward to a day with fellow blipper Fluffikens (who celebrates her 500th blip today... Well done you!!! x) tomorrow when we will attempt to capture Autumnal colour, New England style, in a very wet Wicklow... just saying
