Christmas, step one

Finally got around to buying the mountain of fruit that the Christmas cake requires, have added half of the brandy and will keep on adding until the dried fruit is no longer dried and has waved the white flag, only then will it be time to play Christmas music (just to annoy the children) and bake the cake.
