Back to the mundane!

After the glorious concert last night, back to the earth today!
I decided that the best way of disposing of damaged and rotten wood from a dismantled deck was a bonfire.
I do not think I am a frustrated arsonist, but there truly is some kind of primitive satisfaction to be had from a good fire outdoors.
So here it is, and timely too, for a few hours later, just as I was contemplating what to to (as darkness fell) with the eventual pile of glowing embers - the rain returned. Problem solved, and some useful and nutritious ash and minerals for the next spring's extended veggie bed!
