Pano 120

I seem to be on a run of aerial views! This one definitely has to be viewed large.

So, the Swiss Consulate right above us seem to be undergoing some major renovation and over the weekend, some painting had been done - evidenced by the strong smell of - you guessed it - oil paint! Ugh! Poor Riza had to work from home yesterday. It was slightly better today but a door to the outside still had to be kept open for most of the day, and whilst it was, I stepped out to get some shots.

This one is trying out the Panorama feature of the X20... you can choose between 120, 180 or 360 deg. I REALLY wanted to get the Palace and the mosque but kept falling short (on the right)... so will have another go when I get the chance.

The picture does show Zabeel Park spread out over the highway... on the left (with the Frame) is near where I live; to the right - the low lying sandy coloured building is one of the Palaces... and in between, you can see Lamcy, Wafi, Raffles Hotel (pyramid shaped building), the new Hyatt Regency Dubai, Dubai International Airport, the Clubhouse of Creek Golf Club etc etc etc. Don't miss our new flyover with S-bends.

A good day meeting up briefly with Jessica to handover some Entertainer vouchers. The Big 5 Show has started so traffic will be manic around the building over the next few days.
