Autumn at Last

Yet another dark day with constant rain but I decided to get out of the house and walk into the woodland. There to my surprise the trees seemed to have decided overnight that autumn has arrived and are starting at last to display some colour.

Using an ISO of 1000 I managed to take a few shots in the gloom before more heavy rain arrived and forced me back indoors.

The forecast for the next few days is for drier weather so no doubt I will be returning.

It seems history is repeating itself. Just noticed that last years blip for today is almost identical.
