Framed
Well, sort of. This is the best I can come up with at the moment for a Mono Monday Macro - Framed. If further inspiration hits later in the day, this fern bud may disappear to be replaced by something more suitable.
Such a glorious day that, once again, it seems almost a crime to post a mono shot - but I can still sit here on the porch, dabbling at work, and take in the sunny spring scene.
Later: We stopped on our way down the hill to buy some plants, and as we drove out past an antique/junk shop and a small shrine, it occurred to me that there might be some framing ops. First I shot the shrine, with its candle ends, plastic flowers and a framed and faded picture of St George, much venerated by the Afro-Brazilian religions, as well as Catholics. Then, ignoring a deep sigh from HH (I lie, he's a patient man), I headed for the shack shop . The manager and his family were sitting around outside and I asked if they minded, which they didn't, and the wife started to show me the way. The smaller child came too, swinging between us (feather-light)). Of course, there were frames, stacked in the corner, and at this point, the other little girl joined us, so....
