Welcome to WALMINGTON-ON-SEA and the set of the new Dad’s Army film currently being shot in the town of Bridlington, East Yorkshire, UK.
Old Town has been converted to a 1944 street scene. The Home Guard tackle a spy and a visiting journalist.

Catherine Zeta-Jones plays Rose Winters the journalist and Toby Jones is Captain Mainwaring. The UK release date is 2015.

The film crew are not keen on folk taking photographs, but I managed to capture this scenario with three actors being filmed doing a street walk.
