Rydal Water

A lovely day. We went to Rydal Water with C&N and walked around the lake. Lots of people out enjoying the autumn weather. From there we went to Tarn Hows and had a picnic (yes in November!). This is where they got engaged almost a year ago.

No 1 son telephoned to say that he has been given a bursary by the university to help fund his research project. Great news. He seemed very chuffed.

No 2 son phoned too and I am hoping to see him at the end of the week.

Home for a roast dinner and crumble.

They need to leave early tomorrow morning as they are both due in work in the afternoon.
