rise & fall

the sun came up in the east - on the coast where we live
& then the sun sets, in the west as we drive toward it (& slightly south)
travelling over the Sheahan Bridge at Gundagai

Heading about 600km along the Hume Hwy to Wangaratta - gateway to the King Valley & everything that is LaDolceVita for this weekends festival of wines old & new, great food, terribly good friends & with a little luck - sunshine.

Friends have lived here for years, whom I met on a working stint at MtBuffalo all those years ago (17 i do believe). Friends old & new are coming up from Melbourne to join in & see what all the fuss is about here in the valley....I doubt they will be disappointed.
