Creating a home

Lovely weekend - after my minor meltdown on Friday the fella decided not to go over to the other house (tho there's only 2 doors left to hang then it's done. Done. Yay!) so we've had the whole weekend as a family. It's been great. Monkey has taken well to her own room - only downside is it's not as obvious when her nappy needs changing (we don't hear the associated noises!) but other than that it's gone well. She's still waking couple of times a night but I'm sleeping better in-between feeds and we can go to bed early and watch things on iPad which I've missed for the last 5 months!

Lovely chilled family day playing with Monkey - she's now moving a lot on her mat by rolling and shuffling and gets to toys she wants even if they're a way away. It's great but scary! Am sure she'll be crawling fairly soon. We then went out for a late lunch and a walk and finally put up pictures in the hall. Hoping this will be the start and that we'll keep adding photos and pictures. Pleased with how it looks so far - especially the pics of Monkey and Goodison Park!

Ended off a lovely day with a bath reading Elle.
