Tattered & Torn

My Mono Monday entry.

There just hasn't been time for anything creative beyond a rainie made frame....the flower is one of my Peony flowers. And then I got carried away with two different textures as the flower looked rather bland.

Golly gosh, what a busy day its been - had to get the Isuzu to the fix-it shop at 10.30, while that was there we went for an hour walk around the beaches which was great. Haven't been out for a few days. Then I had a lunch with possibly my oldest friend from primary school days. They farmed next door to us, our parents were great friends, we rode (horses) together, off to pony club every Sunday and the A & P Shows. Those were great days. It was her birthday, her two sisters, her two cousins & me did a lot of reminiscing (as you do when you get old - I remember my parents doing that) .

Then home pronto as OldTimer & I have spent all afternoon going through the Salon judging, sorting out the cup & trophies, collating the years points for the certificates etc etc. I tell you, not an easy job at all.
