This morning we took Miles on his first real train ride! We took a quick one trip from Portland to Kelso and had Mimi and Grandpa C pick us up from there. As you can see it was a beautiful morning for a train ride. Miles had a great time and was constantly commentating. I wrote a few down:
When we drove past the UP yard, "Wow look at those trains! ...that's so many...."
"That train doesn't have an engine"
"That had four engines"
"Look at those!!!"
"Mommy that was awesome"
We saw a white truck and mentioned it looked like Grandpa C's and he said, "But grandpa C's truck has black horns on the back....like daddy reindeers" (he was talking about a ladder rack)

After the train ride we went back to grandpa C and Mimi's house to play and then we all went to 'buffalo wild things' for lunch. Back home dad worked on some projects while Miles and I napped. Then we woke up and played a little baseball and football indoors before watching a bunch of Miles' old baby videos. We've been talking a lot about what's going to happen when his sisters arrive and what newborn babies are like. Miles thought it was pretty fun to watch all the old videos.
