Normal service resumes...

So, Barney's been given the all-clear, which means we can all enjoy a Sunday am walk on the beach :-)
He actually contracted MRSP which meant that although he was physically all healed after his run-in with a car, he couldn't mix with other dogs.
Anyway, swabs taken last week revealed that he is now MRSP free and can play again :-)

Another busy Sunday which included a rather hair-raising loss of power in the Land Rover pulling away from a set of lights.
As it was accompanied by an alarming plume of smoke from the exhaust I was starting to worry.
We somehow managed to nurse it home and it looks nothing more serious than a collapsed intercooler hose -TFFT :-)

It was a bit of a 'fixing and mending' day as we also had to replace the back door lock and a bunch of low voltage bulbs that had decided to commit suicide within weeks of each other, taking their transformers out with them.
1 actually went out with a bit of a flash and a bang which added to the excitement this afternoon :-)
