Time.....

This is the mug I asked for when my grandad passed away. That is grandad and grandma laughing happily in the photo.
When they had both passed on certain vultures went in with their demands and mooching and I wanted this. Whenever grandad made a cup of tea you could hear him stirring away for what seemed like hours. I loved that sound. My grandad also had an ash tray which had a button that you could press to drop the ash to a lower level and presumably hide the ash and the smell. I loved to press that button when I was a kid. We lost grandad 15 years ago today. I find that staggering. Uncle Kevin has been gone 10years in December and Sam 3years. I'm not sure where time goes but it soon passes quickly. Mum and dad have been for steak and chops today. It was lovely to see them both. R has 3 Sundays in a row off which is also nice. He has laughed today like I haven't heard for a while. I feel more like my old self today. Less bat-shit crazy and more scatty old me ;-) D's mum came home from hospital today too-thank goodness.xx
