Sunset over Nine Mile Burn

A Carlsberg Sunday.

Made my own version of Mary Berry's Xmas Pud ice cream - I used Cointreau this time & added chopped hazelnuts.

Some leisurely kindle time & a bit of light gardening followed by The Desolation of Smaug (a catch up before the final chapter hits the big screens), bubbles & a roast pork supper.

All topped off with this magnificent sunset - all the more of a surprise as it'd been like Gorillas in the Mist here all day.
