Glitter Ball

My daughter and the family came this morning to collect the Fox. Luckily it seems to encompass my lanky grandson well. He sat at the wheel on the drive with his mother in the passenger seat. Suddenly the car shot forward alarmingly. He seems to have forgotten the clutch control he achieved on his mother's S2000 a couple of years ago at North Weald. He exceeded the site speed limit and we were ejected.

My daughter got very stressed today and I replaced her in the passenger seat. Ol achieved a smooth take off. I'm so excited about teaching him to drive. My daughter and I have petrol in our veins and I want Ol to have as much driving fun as we have. It was so sad to hear of that awful crash in Doncaster that took the lives of five teenagers. Everything one does in life holds risks. I aim to teach Ol to be as safe a driver as he possibly can be.

This afternoon I went looking for an IG glitter subject. I had a web in mind but there were none about. I had nearly given up when I spotted a sheet web in the grass, no sign of the spider, it has probably hunkered down for the winter. It was covered with tiny rain droplets. I sprinkled it with baby blue edible glitter and lit it with MrQ's new, 1,000,000 candle power, intruder spotting, torch.
