A morning trip to Southampton Airport to collect Andy, then over to Havant to take his mum out for lunch. We had a lovely roast and to keep ourselves awake afterwards, went for a walk down to the coast at Langstone. The sea was out and the estuary mud full of wading birds and geese. A man in a boat rowed out in to the bay in the quiet and cool late afternoon air, the sound of his paddles hitting the water could be heard from a long way off. Sadly I had neither my camera or binoculars so was unble to take any photographs or see what the birds close enough to identify them. We returned to my house to have dinner and relax watching Strictly. A lovely day. Earlier I'd seen this window and beautifully constructed wall on an old barn just down the road from my house. There are lots of little treasures like this dotted around the Hampshire lanes.
