Christmas Tree

Today we had a WI trip to The Hall at Abbey-Cwm-Hir, a Grade 11 listed Victorian Gothic Revival house.Originally built in 1834, it was bought by the present owners in 1997 who spent 10 years restoring it to its current splendour. It is open to the public all year but around Christmas time is decorated throughout with numerous trees each with a different theme and an abundance of period decorations. This blip shows a detail of a tree with feminine ornaments so if you look carefully you will see many pretty details. It is a fascinating place to visit if you are ever in this part of Wales.
