Euphorbia Polychroma
Trying to make some progress whilst it's dry out there. This morning continued with the delightful task of clearing nettles, old bricks and barbed wire from round the septic tank. This is the first step in clearing some ground and establishing a defined pathway into the proposed Japanese area. We did some measuring up so made a start on the design.
To save my back for another day, I switched to weeding and cutting back on the front border after lunch. This Euphorbia is a real favourite. It's behaving unseasonably but in the spring it supports my yellow and blue colour scheme in a north facing border. It's quite compact and trouble free and the new growth is quite stunning with the intense blue flowers of Brunnera macrophylla and the lime green foliage of Heuchera Key Lime Pie. Good enough to eat!
