Back on Course

It was good to get out on the golf course this morning, first game for a month and first in the Winter League. A bit of a mixed bag as usual, started poorly and fell away! It was a great morning though; tramping through the dew under a flat, grey sky can be pretty nice when there isn't a cold, blasting wind to go with it. Just played 9 holes though. The folk in front were as slow as milk turning, so we adjourned for an earlier than planned coffee.

Have finally managed to choose somewhere to stay on the return leg of our Christmas trip; we split the drive up in winter these days, a lot less hassle that way if the weather's rubbish. So we'll be checking out Dillenburg this time and Limburg on the way down. That's only a month away, find it hard to believe! I'll have to force myself to get into gear or it'll all be a last minute rush. As usual!
