Warm Squirrel

This little chap lives on the side of my woodburner. I am surprised that he never moves as it gets quite hot!
Today was spent mainly lying on the floor of the kitchen next door upgrading the sink unit which has never had a back or a middle shelf.
The back posed a few problems of trying to get the melamine faced hardboard behind the plumbing, cutting the holes to give access to the isolation taps and fixing timber strips to secure the back to.
Then it was the shelf which again had to be cut to fit and extended to the corner side to give some more storage space. It's all done apart from a couple of screws but I was running out of energy and enthusiasm so came home to have a glass of wine and some cashew nuts to revive me!
