Red IPA
Actually I went into the park today, and found some great fungi. However, I had no tripod with me, the light was really dreadful, and the results are ... not good (put politely). I did not feel up to going back into the park with a tripod - but perhaps I'll try this tomorrow, if weather permits.
So, I looked for an alternative, and inevitably this meant alcohol. This was very difficult (the photography). In the end I opted for this shot - reflections were a major issue, and the 'cleverer' shots I tried were a total failure as a result of those reflections.
The IPA is probably my favourite beer (please don't worry any more about the description of the taste than you would about description of the taste of other beers, wines etc), and as you can see (I hope!) the label does incorporate an elephant (I hope it is an Indian one).
Yesterday's picture was processed using Capture One, which (like the sadly discontinued Aperture) I prefer for processing the image (though LR is more to my taste for selecting images). I'm only testing Capture One at the moment - I like what I have seen so far, but critically it does not support one of my cameras at present (Nikon 1 V3).
