In memoriam

A visit to Victoria Park today, where I spotted these flowers on a bench. It's heartening to know we're remembered after we're gone.

Later this week I'll attend the funeral of a man who gave a great deal of time to RGU. In all my dealings with him he was an absolute gentleman, whose advice was both wise and delivered from the heart. His passing is a reminder that each day is important and that, far too often, life is terribly short.

Needless to say, he will be remembered long into the future.
