Girlie Selfie

Rachel and Scarlett travelled down to London for the day so we could have a girlie day, although it wasn't very straight forward as I didn't know there weren't any trains running from Brighton. There was a bus replacement service to Three Bridges which is near Crawley, but actually it was very quick and they had lots of buses, so it didn't add too much time onto my journey.

Rach wanted to see the poppies before they were removed so we headed down to the Tower of London, and although they've started removing the poppies by hand it was still very busy. We had lunch at St Katherine's Dock and then caught the tube to St Jame's Park - visited Buckingham Palace and then went into the park so Scarlett could see the ducks and play on the swings.

I found it hard to choose my blip today as there are some lovely ones, but I decided it had to be this selfie of the three of us. I'm not sure what's going on in the background, but the lady looks frighted of something lol!

When we got back to Euston all the Virgin trains had been severely delayed due to a fire, but we managed to get Rachel & Scarlett on an earlier train that was about to leave. Unfortunately it wasn't the express train so it took them a long time to get home, and their original delayed train arrived long before they did.

Anyway, we had a great day and it was lovely to see them - the next time will be Christmas!
