Morning Sky

The mid-November morning sky was worth a moment of quiet contemplation. This day has been gorgeous from sun-up to sundown.

It's been the kind of day when grading student essays felt like punishment, except for the knowledge that this is the last essay project to grade this semester. My students have two more projects, but those are not essays; they are smaller easier to grade.

The carpet cleaning people were here this afternoon to clean all the carpeting downstairs. So we moved all the furniture onto the patio and into the garage. This evening we're hanging-out upstairs while the downstairs carpet dries.
