Machine gun attacks and film stars

A trip on the deuce to downtown Vegas was rewarded with a 1st place chop in the Golden Nugget tournament with a guy who is apparently Charlie sheens godfather and best buddy. 3rd place went to a police diver who pulls bodies out of Lake Mead for forensics and appeared in the Godzilla movie as a fireman. The guy who busted in 4th was part of the same police team but a medic and had just saved some guys life the night before after he got hit by 7 bullets in a gangland machine gun attack..not making any of this up.
Played at Binions after but couldn't make the money. Caught the deuce back to the strip, driving in to LV at night when its all lit up is amazing, what a place.
Entered another tournament at the MGM in the evening which was pretty brutal, after cruising to the chip lead I lost a massive pot and most of my chips after a particularly painful bad beat. Took this snap on the way back to the hotel of the Paris casinos eiffel tower.
