HOME SWEET HOME
Finally, something interesting to blip! It’s a rare day to catch a squirrel coming out of its hole in a tree - I couldn't pass it up! Now I know where this little Red lives! When I toss out peanuts in the morning, he comes running from the woods by leaps and bounds to get one. He seems to run as fast as a bird can fly!
I took a break from Blip because things just got too busy. It seemed as though I was posting the same birds & squirrels over & over again just because I didn’t find time to look for something different. My mother will be 106 next month - she is doing incredibly well and her mind is excellent, yet the responsibility seems to take most of my energy.
Funny thing, after being away from Blip a couple months last spring when my mother broke her leg, it was a squirrel (regular size) coming out of a hole in a tree that got me started again. So now it’s another squirrel coming out of its hole that brings me back yet again. (In case you’re wondering, after enduring some intensive rehab, my mother can walk again, get up & down on her own, etc. Amazing for her age!) I doubt that I’ll post a blip regularly, but it’s just too much fun to totally quit. A special thank you to all of you who missed my blips and inquired about me.
Oh, and it's 'Squirrel Blip Friday'! I'd forgotten about that! :-)
