Regeneration

The usual Saturday of shopping and visiting was enlivened (?) by painting a patio door at my godmother's. It has blown off its hinges and had to be replaced and needed a coat of gloss ahead of the winter.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the modern gloss paint. Not only could the brushes be cleaned in water you could almost watch the paint dry. But does not make for an interesting photo.

This orchid is at home and is the third time it has flowered since we got it. I must be doing something right!
