Rain relief

Saturday Senses - lying in bed till a little later, enjoying being under a blanket and a counterpane and listening to the rain outside and the bird song. Then finding the little orchids, which I hadn't meant to leave exposed to what might have been heavy rain, looking pretty happy with the drizzle.

A nice long shower, now that HH has more or less mended the tap and turned the water on again.

Taking the car further than usual up the hill and then walking with HH and Kayla, seeing how the undergrowth now smothers most of the scars from the floods and landslides three - well, nearly four - years ago. Kayla was beside herself with excitement - which unfortunately involves her dashing at me from a great distance and thudding into my chest or back.

And now, the sense that I should have done more work and less faffing around.
