Purdey

Purdey is our new fishing companion, and she loved coming fishing - until we stopped throwing sticks, that is. - She chases sticks and balls until she collapses and she was great fun to have around.

We managed to get a whole week fishing on the River Naver, a fantastic salmon river on the north coast. I caught a wonderful fresh grilse (a salmon that has only been at sea for a year).

Catch return:
- me, 1 grilse ~ 6 lbs - returned.
