Freyda was very impressed with the National Gallery of Scotland's big exhibition of pictures of her, in her red coat, jeans and red boots outfit.

It's an exhibition of original paintings from James Mayhew's Katie books, which I hadn't heard of until today, when we dropped into the gallery by chance. Very glad we happened to dress Freyda in what turns out to be the character's trademark colours.

She was convinced the pictures were all of her. After about 30 seconds of being a little taken aback, she accepted it as a totally normal thing for the gallery to have done.
