Winter's approach

I had a busy morning, doing some maths preparation for next week's classes, making the mincemeat and a batch of rather tasty (if I do say so myself!) carrot & coriander soup. So this afternoon we escaped to Stourhead. It was beautiful but cold - winter's approaching, I fear.

This evening, the four of us went out for an early meal at a wonderful Italian restaurant in the town - early, because it was fully booked for later on this evening. The food and service were, as ever, superb - and the boys were paying!
