An Teallach View
Well......we're definitely not at home. We certainly don't get views like this one.
This was taken on the final leg of our travels up to Ullapool in North West Scotland, where we're on our holiday. We set off at 7am this morning and arrived around 4pm!! It's a long journey but really worth the effort if you like stunning scenery and peace and quiet. The colours were very muted by this point, almost showing black and white silhouettes.
An Teallach is an impressive mountain in this region. Not one I've managed to walk - just a bit too much for me. But it's a fantastic view. The sun was starting to set so I grabbed a few shots besides Loch Droma before the light would be gone altogether.
This is our 7th consecutive visit to Ullapool and the surrounding area, but not at this time of the year. I'm hoping for some wonderful Autumn light.....
